Terms of Service
Who these terms are between
Jimmaa is operated by Lamp Solutions Private Limited, a company registered in Kathmandu, Nepal (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to any business and any person at that business (“you”) who uses Jimmaa. By creating a workspace or signing in, you agree to them.
What Jimmaa does
Jimmaa brings a business’s customer conversations from its own connected social accounts into one workspace, drafts suggested replies with AI for a person to review, and publishes content the business has approved to its own connected accounts.
Jimmaa is a tool operated by the business. We are not a party to the conversations you have with your customers, and we do not take responsibility for what you say to them or publish.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your workspace. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction, and you must have authority to connect the social accounts you connect.
Where Jimmaa is offered
Jimmaa is currently offered to businesses registered or operating in Nepal, and plans are sold in Nepali rupees. We do not market it in other countries, and it is not built for the requirements of other countries’ regulatory regimes. We may open it to other markets later; these terms will be updated when we do.
The people who message a business using Jimmaa may of course be anywhere. Our Privacy Policy describes how their information is handled wherever they are.
Connected accounts
Connecting an account authorizes Jimmaa to act on that account for the purposes you choose in the app. You may disconnect at any time from the Channels page, which removes the stored tokens.
Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms and policies, including TikTok’s Terms of Service, TikTok’s Community Guidelines and, where your content is commercial, TikTok’s Branded Content Policy. Nothing in these terms overrides them, and a platform may refuse, remove or restrict content regardless of what Jimmaa does.
Importing your message history
Where a platform offers it, you can ask Jimmaa to bring your existing message history into your workspace. On TikTok this uses TikTok’s Data Portability API: you authorize the request, TikTok prepares an archive of your direct messages, and Jimmaa downloads it and imports the conversations so your team has the history behind a conversation. You can also upload an archive you downloaded from TikTok yourself.
This data is used only to operate your workspace for you. It is not sold, not shared with other customers, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models — by us or by any model provider we use. Deleting your workspace deletes it; see the Data Deletion page.
Publishing content
You keep ownership of the content you publish through Jimmaa. By publishing it you confirm that you have the rights to it, including rights to any music, images, people and trademarks it contains, and that it does not break the rules of the platform you are publishing to.
Every post is reviewed and confirmed by a person at your business before it is sent. You choose the audience, the interaction settings and whether the post is commercial. Those declarations are yours, and you are responsible for their accuracy.
Publishing can be irreversible. Once a platform has accepted a post, Jimmaa cannot always delete it — TikTok, for example, offers no API to remove a published post — and removing it may require you to act in that platform’s own app.
AI-suggested replies
Jimmaa uses AI to draft suggested replies. Drafts can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Do not rely on one as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Every workspace starts with every draft waiting for a person to approve it. You may then grant autopilot — the ability for Jimmaa to send an approved kind of reply on its own — and you choose how far that goes, one kind of message at a time. Money, stock and low-confidence replies always stop for a person.
Whether a reply is approved by your team or sent under a rule you configured, it goes out from your business’s account and you are responsible for it. Review your autopilot settings before you rely on them, and keep them accurate as your business changes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Jimmaa to:
- Send spam, or message people who have not consented to hear from you.
- Publish content you do not have the rights to, or that impersonates someone else.
- Break the terms, policies or rate limits of a connected platform.
- Break any law that applies to you or to the people you are messaging.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.
We may suspend a workspace that is being used this way.
Your data
How we handle data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion at any time through our Data Deletion page.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Jimmaa available and to fix problems promptly, but the service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Connected platforms change their APIs, and a feature may change or stop working as a result.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and continuing to use Jimmaa after a change means you accept it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or goodwill, or for content you or your customers publish or send. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending it
You may stop using Jimmaa and delete your workspace at any time. We may end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service, and we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Kathmandu have jurisdiction.
